Glasgow Mayfest '97

Between 1996-2000, Ms. Hill lived in Scotland and worked in the art of pageantry. At the Glasgow Mayfest in 1997, as part of a team of highly skilled artists, she facilitated the creation of giant puppets with community members in towns around Scotland.

A Camden Christmas Carol

WANT AND IGNORANCE

Funded by a 2006 Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation Grant for artists in communities, Ms. Hill spent six month residency with Rutgers producing A Camden Christmas Carol. There, she facilitated various community groups in creating a quilt and several large-scale puppets, one of which “grew” onstage from 13-16ft. tall.
